This might seem to read like an ad for the “Lonely Hearts” column, however, many of you readers recognize here song titles from the 40s and 50s. That’s right. The members of the Austin Cotillion Dance Club tripped the light fantastic once again on the evening of Oct. 6 being thoroughly entertained by the rhythmic melodies of Austin’s longtime musician Berry Rush and his combo: Sue Hayes on the keyboard, Bill Apold on the drums and Berry mastering the guitar.
Rush hour has been in existence since 2003, entertaining hundreds and drawing Cotillion members out to the dance floor for 57 years as Berry also played for the Dixielanders for many years with his dad.
