The annual Chicken ‘N’ Biscuits supper and bake sale is set for Thursday.

The dinner will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 204 1st Ave NW. Tickets are $9 for adults, $4 for children 5-12 years old, and children ages 4 and under are free. Carry outs are available and the dinner is handicapped accessible. Everyone is welcome.

The Election Day Salad Luncheon is also on its way.

The luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Masonic Lodge Building, 303A North Main Street.

The event is sponsored by Unity Chapter No. 29, Order of Eastern Star. There will be salads, scalloped potatoes and ham, along with desserts and beverages. A donation of $8 is requested. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to bring friends.
