A seatbelt saved a life in a crash that took place Tuesday between a truck and a semi-truck.

A crash involving a pickup truck pulling a trailer and a fully-loaded semi truck left one person injured Tuesday, according to Sheriff Terese Amazi. The crash took place on County Road 3 about a mile east of County Road 7. The truck driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, and the semi-truck driver had no injuries reported.

Amazi said the truck driver was very lucky, and his injuries could have been much worse had he not been wearing his seatbelt.
