Ryan T. Holdgrafer, 27, of Rose Creek, Minnesota, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015, at Mayo Clinic – St. Marys Campus in Rochester, Minnesota, from a brain injury sustained in a farm accident.
Ryan Thomas Holdgrafer was born Sept. 12, 1988, in Austin, Minnesota, the son of Mark Holdgrafer and Debora Anderson. Ryan was an older brother to two sisters. He attended Southland Senior High School. Ryan was a lead welder and currently working as a welder for the RDM of Minnesota in Dodge Center. He enjoyed farming, raising cows, working on machinery, farm auctions and helping neighboring farmers. Ryan also enjoyed tractor and truck pulls and had received a number of awards. He loved spending time with his children, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nathan and Kathleen Anderson and Earl Holdgrafer; and his great-grandparents.
Ryan is survived by his fiancée, Kimberly Sherva, Rose Creek, Minnesota; children: Allie Mae, Lamonte and Raelynn Marie; parents, Mark Holdgrafer, Austin, Minnesota, Debora Anderson, Rose Creek, Minnesota; grandmother, Marian Holdgrafer, Austin, Minnesota; sisters: Ashley (Jon Krebsbach) Holdgrafer and niece Harper, Adams, Minnesota, and Melissa Holdgrafer, Winona, Minnesota; aunts, uncles; cousins and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015, at Little Cedar Lutheran Church, Adams, Minnesota, with the Rev. Jeremy Johnson and the Rev. Charlie Leonard officiating. Visitation will be at the Adams Funeral Home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday for one hour before the service.
