Aaron Kjome was sworn as a new deputy for the Mower County Sheriff’s Department Friday morning by Sheriff Terese Amazi. He started in-house training on Monday. Kjome worked in Brownsdale and with the Mower County Reserves for five years. “I feel great,” he said. “This has been a dream of mine since I started this career path.”
