The Joseph Company of Austin and Albert Lea has been recognized as the 2015 Contractor of the Year by the Associated Builders & Contractors. President Carter Wagner accepted the award at the ABC annual meeting on Nov. 19 in Minneapolis.
The Construction Company of the Year recognizes the company in ABC that has shown outstanding quality in construction and proven service to its customers, employees and the community.
In receiving the award, Wagner said, “This recognition is especially exciting at this time as we celebrate our 50th Anniversary serving the construction industry and 30th anniversary supporting our trade association ABC. I am so proud to represent our 46 dedicated employees and an industry that is second to none.”
The Contractor of the Year Award is the highest level of recognition provided annually by ABC. The Minnesota Chapter of ABC represents 345 construction-related business firms in Minnesota, North Dakota, and Western Wisconsin.
Founded in 1965, The Joseph Company has been serving commercial, industrial and public clients in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa for 50 years.
