Larson leads BP girls past WEM

The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team won its third straight game to start the season when it beat Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (1-1 overall, 0-1 Gopher) 56-42 in BP Friday.
BP (3-0 overall, 1-0 Gopher) was led by Marissa Larson, who obscured 18 points and pulled down 18 rebounds.
“Marissa was a force inside on both ends of the court,” BP head coach John Bruns said. “Her inside partner Kalyn Naatz also had a solid game with 10 points and made four big free throws in the last two minutes.”
