The Austin wrestling team went 2-2 in a team dual tournament in St. Ansgar, Iowa Saturday.

The Packers lost to Clarksville Iowa 42-33 and they fell to Lincoln Des Moines, Iowa 46-36. Austin beat Dubuque Wahlert 43-32 and it topped Perry, Iowa 43-32.

Zach Farrand, Gavin Brady and Josh Belden all picked up their first varsity wins for the Packers.

“I was very pleased with the effort given at this tournament,” Austin head coach Jer Osgood said. “We wrestled hard to get those bonus points for the team.”
