Mary Dennison, 74, of Austin, Minnesota, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus.

Mary Ann was born May 30, 1941, in Preston, Minnesota, to William M. and Alice M. (Peterson) Bowe. Mary grew up in Austin, and graduated from Austin High School. She was united in marriage to Frank Wayne Dennison Sr. on Aug. 31, 1979, at Crane Community Chapel in Austin. Following Frank’s death in July of 2011, Mary had continued to make Austin her home. She was a longtime member of Crane Community Chapel. Mary enjoyed camping, playing cards, baking and playing bingo. She most enjoyed time spent with her family and many friends.

Mary is survived by her sons: Lon Oleson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and William Oleson of Waseca, Minnesota; her daughter, Robin Oleson of Meriden, Minnesota; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; step sons: Todd Dennison and Steve (Kristie) Dennison; step-daughters: Katie (Scott) Brechtel, and Melissa (Doug) Root; step-daughter-in-law, Dawn Dennison; sisters: Beverly Ingersoll and Wanda (Tom) Engelman, all of Austin; also by many nieces, nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Alice Bowe; husband, Frank; step-sons: Frank W. Dennison Jr. and Chad Dennison.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, at Crane Community Chapel in Austin, with Pastor Dale Christiansen officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church, immediately preceding the service.
