Last Saturday I had the pleasure of attending a great event here in Austin. I guess it could be labeled a combination Christmas party and customer appreciation party. The auto dealership Holiday Dodge furnished music by the Austin Big Band, a petting zoo, free hot dogs (Hormel), cookies, coffee and soda. Mr. and Mrs. Claus were even on hand to greet people. It was one big party that lasted most of the day. It seemed to be such a genuine display of customer and community appreciation. Someone said that this even has been ongoing for 17 years! This is remarkable and hopefully it will continue for many more years. Keep up the good work.
