The Austin wrestling team finished third out of nine teams at the Columbia Heights tournament over the weekend.

The Packers had two champions in the meet as Isaac Arjes took first at 195 pounds and Corey Waller took first at 220 pounds.

“This was both Isaac’s and Corey’s first time winning a varsity tournament. They both did a great job wrestling with intensity and wresting hard till the whistle. I am very happy for their accomplishment.

Phillip Zynda took second at 160 for Austin, while Jackson Hample, Josh Belden and Gavin Brady took first.
