The Hayfield girls basketball team beat Zumbrota-Mazeppa (3-4 overall, 2-3 HVL) 65-52 in Hayfield Friday.

The Vikings (4-3 overall, 2-2 HVL) had four players score at least 10 points as Carrie Rutledge led the way with 14 points.

“We had real nice balance, we moved the ball well and we were able to get quite a few turnovers,” Hayfield head coach Fred Kindschy said.
