A gun and wallet are missing after someone allegedly stole them from a vehicle Monday.

Officers responded to the 600 block of First Drive Northwest around 6:40 p.m. Monday to a report of a vehicle theft. The victim reported someone went through his vehicle when he forgot to lock the doors, and took a black wallet and a Glock 32, 380 caliber handgun from the center console. The gun had a magazine with rounds in it.

There are no suspects at this time, and the case was turned over to investigators.

Police have repeatedly urged people to lock their vehicles and homes after a string of burglaries over the last few months.
