The No. 9 ranked Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team beat Fillmore Central (6-5 overall) 64-30 in a rematch of last year’s Section 1A title game on the road Monday.
Kristi Fett had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the Athletics (9-1 overall).
LP is in a tough stretch of its schedule that saw it play three ranked teams in the last two weeks and it will play two more ranked teams in the next couple of weeks.
“We played a really solid game and I was really proud of our kids,” LP head coach Justin Morris said. “We’re in the toughest part of our schedule having to play three ranked teams in a row. We’re in the thick of it right now and our kids are playing really good basketball. It was probably the most complete basketball game we’ve played this year.”
