Bitter cold expected Saturday night, early next week

Austin is about to see its first batch of bitter cold for 2016.
The National Weather Service is warning that very cold air will move into the region late Saturday, which could drop wind chills to minus 20.
The cold conditions could continue through Tuesday.
The low could reach minus 7 on Saturday night. Sunday will see a high of 1 and a low of minus 5. After a high of 11 Monday, temperatures will drop to 1 over night. The Tuesday high will be about 2 degrees, while the low will be around minus 6.
The Austin area also saw about two inches of snow Thursday evening and overnight, which made for slick conditions Friday morning.
