Law enforcement officials aren’t sure what caused a fire that claimed car on Tuesday.

Police responded to the Nicol’s Car Wash on the 100 block of 11th Avenue Northwest on Tuesday after a vehicle fire.

The car was parked for work at Nicol’s.

The 1996 Chevy Corsica was engulfed in flames when officers arrived. Hanson Tire employees were extinguishing the fire and it was almost out when officers arrived. However, the car was a total loss.

Austin Fire Department also responded. No cause has been determined yet.
