Girls basketball: Rebels get past St. Charles

The Southland girls basketball team had four players reach double figures in scoring as they beat St. Charles (16-7 overall, 9-8 Three Rivers) 56-45 in Adams Monday.

Sydney Bendtsen scored 15 points for the Rebels (8-12 overall, 8-8 Three Rivers) and Kaysie Allen chipped in 14 points.

“It was probably our most complete game of the year,” Southland head coach Dean Bendtsen said. “It’s our best victory and it comes at a real good time. We made some lineup changes and they worked pretty well.”
