Four students will attend the North Central American Choral Directors Association middle level honor choirs and will perform at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Feb. 20, 2016. The judges listened to more than 1,000 audition recordings from middle school students in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Out of these, 475 students were selected to participate in the Middle Level Girls Honor Choir and Middle Level Boys Honor Choir. Four students from Ellis Middle School were chosen: Ellen Kanne, Katie Lillemon, Aaron Knoll and Jackson Oelfke.
