March-April Austin Living is out now, annual Progress edition arrives Friday
The special sections have arrived.
Two of the Herald’s largest special sections of the year are coming out this week, and we want you to pick up a copy and enjoy a vast variety of local stories.
First, our March-April 2016 edition of Austin Living arrived yesterday.
In this issue, we highlight three local collectors, one family’s tribute to their father, how a local business helped make a magical prom for girls at Gerard Academy, and much more.
Copies are available for free at the Herald, 310 Second St. NE.
Our annual Progress edition arrives Friday and is delivered with the Friday paper to subscribers. Copies will also be available here at the Herald.
The annual Progress edition is a bit like a community yearbook, and it represents several months of work — whether it’s brainstorming, writing stories, selling advertisements or designing pages.
We’re excited for you to check out even more great stories here. Read about how two major projects are reshaping Austin’s retail hubs, about how Austin High School graduates are making careers coaching, how Austin Public Schools is boosting technology in the classroom, and how an Austin resident is continuing a long tradition of public outreach at Mayo Clinic.
We’re excited for you to see our latest projects.
