BURNSVILLE — Police in a Twin Cities suburb say an officer has shot a man in the parking lot of a McDonald’s restaurant.

Burnsville officials say officers responded to a call about a suspicious person about 6:15 a.m. Thursday at the fast food restaurant near Highway 13. Police have not provided additional details, but planned to hold a news briefing Thursday morning.
