An apartment fire in Dexter displaced four people, but no injuries were reported, according to Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May.
Deputies and the Dexter Fire Department responded to 153 N. Main St. in Dexter at about 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a stove fire.
They arrived to see smoke coming from the roof, and flames were later visible coming through the roof.
The fire department extinguished the fire, but said the apartment was uninhabitable for the four residents.
The American Red Cross found a place for one child and three adults to stay.
