Lisa Marie Aden (Gerber), 42, passed away at her home in Wasilla, Alaska, on Saturday morning, March 19, 2016.

Lisa was born on May 20, 1973, in Austin, Minnesota, to James Gerber and Rhonda Gerber (Helebrant). She moved with her family to Spokane, Washington, in 1979. This was home until adulthood when Lisa and her husband, Mark, moved to Austin so Lisa could go to Riverland Community College to get a nursing degree. As soon as she graduated they moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where Lisa was employed at Providence hospital as an R.N. Eight years ago they welcomed a son, Nate. As a family they enjoyed all the wonderful things that Alaska has to offer, especially fishing. She will be missed by her family and friends both here and in Alaska.

Lisa is survived by her husband Mark Aden; and son, Nate, in Wasilla, Alaska; her mother, Rhonda Gerber(Helebrant) in Rochester; her sister Debbie Getchell (James) in St. Charles, Minneosta; two brothers, Adam in Austin and Jacob (Kris) in Rochester; nieces and nephews, Sierra, Garrett, Jae, Owin, Olive, and Osa; and grandfather Bernie Helebrant in Austin.

She is preceded in death by her dad, James; and grandparents, Patricia Stevens, Eugene and Charlene Gerber.
