The Rochester Civic Theatre’s Americana Showcase welcomes Jason Ringenberg, with Hayward Williams, Brandon Sampson, and John Wheeler, at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Jason Ringenberg (of Jason and the Scorchers, the band that blazed the trail for the “cowpunk” and “alt-country” music scenes) brings his live solo show to our Americana Showcase stage.

The recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award for Performance by the Americana Music Association, Jason is “one of the most exciting performers of his generation,” according to the Times (UK).

Americana Showcase celebrates the rich musical heritage of the American Midwest by connecting artists with music lovers of all ages. This community gathering creates a vibrant conversation between artists and listeners alike in a unique and intimate environment.

The Rochester Civic Theatre’s Lobby Bar opens at 6:30 p.m. Americana Showcase starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $19 in advance and $24 at the door.
