Annual Mystery Trip coming Thursday

May might be the month we think of with May baskets, Mother’s Day and Memorial Day, but this year we will add to the list the annual Mystery Trip.

As our weather is a  mystery,  we also have planned  a mystery.  Thursday is the date set for our Mystery Trip.   Here is the second and third clues to where this year’s trip is taking us.

These clues will be repeated upon boarding our motorcoach, which departs at 8 a.m. from Walmart.

 Upcoming trips

•June 9: This is our next trip to Amish country near Lanesboro, Minnesota. We will have free time to enjoy the beautiful setting there and an included lunch. We have a few openings available. The fee is due by May 17.  Departure time is 8:30 a.m. from Walmart.

•June 29: “Million Dollar Quartet” at the Old Log Theatre. This promises to be a great musical production which features the music of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis , Carl Perkins, and Johnny Cash.  Lunch will be included in Burnsville.  Fee is due by June 1.

•July 14: “The Wizard of Oz” at  the Marion Ross Theatre in Albert Lea.  We have a mystery meal planned for  this annual trip . Departure time will be 4:30 p.m.

More of our schedule can be picked at the Mower County Senior Center, South outside entrance.

Our fall extended trip has been finalized and we have made plans to attend the National Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The date set is Oct. 4-12.  We have planned it as a trip to explore.

Some of the schedule will include: Oklahoma City, Santa Fe, New Mexico, three days at the Balloon Fest, and Denver. Schedules for this trip are available by stopping by the Mower County Senior Center.
