Blaine woman sentenced in fatal stabbing of boyfriend

ANOKA— A Blaine woman who pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend last year has been sentenced to more than six years in prison.
The Star Tribune reports 31-year-old Arteisha Love was sentenced to 74 months in prison Tuesday. A judge dismissed two counts of second-degree murder.
Love pleaded guilty last month. She told police that during a fight, she stabbed her boyfriend, 29-year-old Gregory Stallone Stewart. She told police that he showed up at her apartment drunk and they got into a fight and he knocked out her front tooth.
