The Blooming Prairie baseball team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Goodhue (2-10 overall) 8-1 on the road Friday.

Riley Olson struck out seven and he allowed just two hits to pick up the win on the mound for the Awesome Blossoms (1-15 overall).

“We finally played a complete game,” BP head coach Matt Kittelson said. “It’s nice to see the number of walks below the number of strikeouts.”
