Mary Louise Gerber, 80 of Adams, Minnesota, died unexpectedly on Friday evening, May 20, 2016.

Mary Louise Enright was born June 6, 1935, at Austin, Minnesota, the daughter of Ernest and Lillian (Hanson) Enright. She graduated from Austin High School and worked in the Mower County Clerk of Courts office. On June 18, 1957, she was married to Roger Gerber at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Rose Creek, Minnesota. The Gerbers farmed in the Adams area and Mary was a homemaker and farm wife.

Mary enjoyed going shopping, often buying flowers for Roger to plant and care for, she also liked doing crossword puzzles and watching The Wheel of Fortune. She loved to travel, and many trips were taken around the country delivering new Winnebago motorhomes. Mary enjoyed cooking and the many luncheon gatherings with her classmates.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, James Enright and sister, Ruth Mullenbach.

Mary is survived by her husband, Roger Gerber, Adams, Minnesota; children, Bill Gerber, Brownsdale, Minnesota, Sue Gerber, Austin, Minnesota, Bob Gerber, Adams, Minnesota, Karen (Tom) Adamson, St. Paul, Minnesota, Linda Gerber, Rochester, Minnesota, Peter Gerber, Rose Creek, Minnesota; grandchildren, Robert Rascon, Jr. and Hannah Adamson; great grandson, Liam Rascon; brother, Lawrence Enright, North Branch, Minnesota and sister, Norma (Chuck) Scott, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg, Minnesota with Father Swaminatha Pothireddy officiating. Interment will be in the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Adams Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. There will also be visitation at the church for one hour before the service on Saturday morning.
