The Awesome Blossoms (10-14 overall) tied the game up at 2-2 in the top of the third when Maya Lembke knocked in a run, but WK responded with a pair of runs to go up 4-2 in the bottom of the third. The Falcons eventually led 7-2 before BP made a late push.

“I don’t think we played our best game tonight, but we had some chances,” BP head coach Ali Mach said. “I’m very excited for what the future holds for them. We had had a handful of seventh and eighth graders that did some good things for us.”
