A burglary in southwest Austin resulted in a broken window, but nothing missing from a home.
At about 11:17 p.m. Thursday, police responded to the 800 block of Ninth Avenue Southwest to the report of a burglary in progress.
Witnesses heard glass breaking and called police, who arrived and surrounded the residence. They did see a broken window in the back of the residence, Krueger said.
Officers obtained a key and cleared the residence, but no one was inside. They notified the owner of the incident and window damage.
There are no suspects at this time, Krueger said.
