Margaret G. (Diggins) Jennings, 80

Margaret G. (Diggins) Jennings, 80, of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, July 2, 2016, at Prairie Meadows Senior Living in Kasson.

Margaret was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Austin to William and Margaret Diggins. She married Roger Thomas Jennings on Aug. 4, 1956. They had three sons, Steven, John, and James. Margaret loved her family with all of her heart and her extended family as well. She was truly a homemaker. She had a love of people, and she wanted to be with them, be a friend to them, help them if help was needed and she did all these things with her special gifts of compassion and love. Margaret also loved ceramics, she made them for years and she gave them to the people she loved and they were beautiful.

The family moved to Elysian, Minnesota, Reeds Lake for a time and later to Waseca, however, Austin was their home. Tom was a sportsman and Margaret loved that her boys were exposed to all kinds of sports. While living in these areas, Margaret volunteered for Social Services and served them well, especially with children who she loved to help. She lived her life with faith.
