Teen Open House at The Arc Mower County

Tuesday, July 12, from 4:30-7:30, free

This activity is open to people with intellectual disabilities ages 13-18 and their families.

Play bingo, Tour The Arc and have pizza, Dance, Staff meet and greet, Meet other families and current members, Play games and socialize, Ask questions, Membership and activity registration, Future activity planning

All new members will receive a free one year Membership and a lunch bag! All current members will receive a free lunch bag!

Sensory-Friendly Performance

Saturday, July 30, 2 p.m. at the Orpheum Theatre

In collaboration with Disney Theatrical Productions, Hennepin Theatre Trust is proud to offer a sensory-friendly performance of Disney’s The Lion King. This performance is specifically designed for individuals with sensory, social and learning disabilities, and their families.

Special accommodations include:

•House lights left on at a low level

•Trained volunteers and professionals on hand

•Sensory support encouraged and available

•Designated quiet spaces and activity areas

•Lower sound levels, especially for startling or loud sounds
