Mrs. Kathy Rickards-Davidson (nee Hoover), of Waukesha, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at the age of 73.

Kathy was born to parents Les and Ruth Hoover on Oct. 27, 1942, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She grew upas the eldest of two siblings and attended Waukesha South High School. In 1962, she married Linford Rickards. She worked as a secretary at Lowell Elementary School in Waukesha, Wisconsin, for 33 years. She and Linford moved to Texas in her retirement where she enjoyed visiting with friends, attending church, and spending time with family. Linford passed away in 2009.

Kathy married Donald Davidson in 2012, and they resided in Austin, Minnesota, keeping up the Davidson family farm. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, attending church, and traveling around the country.

Kathy is survived by her husband Donald Davidson of Austin, Minnesota; her son, Mark (Kim) Rickards of Flower Mound, Texas; her daughter, Cathylynne (Paul “Buzz”) Erickson (grandchildren Cody and Carston) of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; her sister, Marjorie (William) Field of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; and brother David (Linda) Hoover of West Allis, Wisconsin; step- children Dennis (Gwen) Davidson (step-grandchildren Andrew Wendt, Kathryn and Elizabeth); Debra (Cecil) Berlie (step-grand children Nathan and Aaron), along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Linford Rickards; her parents, Les and Ruth. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016, at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Austin, Minnesota, followed by lunch at noon and interment at Oakwood Cemetery at 2 p.m.
