The Austin VFW Post 1216 picked up two more wins with a 8-4 win in game one and a 5-2 victory in game two over Mantorville in Marcusen Park Monday.

Austin (9-2 District) broke the first game open in the fifth inning with four runs crossing the

plate, highlighted by a triple from Riley Wempner and a two run single by AJ Mueller.

Jake Lunt went four innings giving up just one run while scattering three hits and striking out two batters.

In game two, Riley Retterath pitched three innings for the victory giving up three hits and one earned run.
