Judith Ann Klukow, 74

Judith Ann Klukow, 74, of Albert Lea, Minnesota, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.

Judy was born Sept. 21, 1941, in Albert Lea the daughter of Morin and Edna (Wood) Martinson. She graduated from Alden High School and on Nov. 24, 1962, was united in marriage to Ernest Klukow at the Salem Lutheran Church in Albert Lea.

Judy had been employed as a waitress at the Skyline Supper Club, the Stables Supper Club and most recently as a clerk at the Hy-Vee Liquor Store. She was an active member of the Eagle’s Auxiliary and the Elks Does Auxiliary. In her free time she enjoyed road trips to visit family and loved to cook and bake. She made the best brownies ever.

Judy is survived by her husband Ernest of Albert Lea, daughter Priscilla (Brian) Cerney of San Antonio, Texas, son Bradley (Jodi Kaye) Klukow of Austin, Minnesota, and her grandchildren: Tyler Louis (Megan) Cerney, Trevor Michael (Janae) Cerney and Holly Ann Cerney (Mac Kelly). There are three-great grandchildren: Gaius Cerney, Emma Cerney and Keira Kelly. She also survived by one sister Harriet (Robert) Brown of Roswell, New Mexico, and one brother Cliffard (Barbara) Wood of Albert Lea.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Perry “Mike” Martinson and in laws Lloyd and Martha Klukow.

Memorial services for Judy will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be held Saturday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will be in the Bear Lake Cemetery, rural Albert Lea.

Memorials will be donated to the Eagles Cancer Telethon, in support of cancer research.
