The Austin girls soccer team opened their season in dominating fashion as seven different players scored in an 8-0 win over Worthington on the road Friday.

The Packers (1-0 overall) racked up 34 shots in the win and Myia Hoium had to make just two saves in net to get the shutout win.

“The girls played together and every girl played their positions well,” Austin head coach Jake Levisen said. “It was a great, fun night.”
