Cross country: Austin’s Lewis takes third and Mayer takes ninth in Lake City Invite

Austin had a pair of top-10 finishers at the 11-team Lake City cross country invite Tuesday.
Abby Lewis took third in the girls race and Mitchell Mayer took ninth in the boys race.
“Abby had a fantastic race, followed pretty well by both Emma [Keenan] and Morgan [Hose], who both finished in the top 15,” Austin head coach Tony Einertson said. “Mitchell had an overall good race.”
