MINNEAPOLIS — Three people were killed and a fourth was injured in an apparent homicide in south Minneapolis.

Minneapolis police tweeted that homicide happened Friday on the 5400 block of 34th Avenue South, which is near Lake Nokomis.

Officer Corey Schmidt confirmed that three people died and a fourth was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. Police plan to provide more information on Friday morning.
