The Blooming Prairie football team had a dominant defensive effort as it beat United South Central (2-5 overall) 45-6 on the road Friday.

BP’s first team defense held USC to just seven yards of offense and it came up with two safeties on tackles by Max Romeo and Trenton Swenson.

Seth Peterson threw TD passes to Payton Simon, Gabe Hagen and Ben Smith in the win for the Awesome Blossoms (6-1 overall).

Alex Baldwin also had a 10-yard TD run in the win for BP.
