Blooming Prairie football team knocked off by Rushford-Peterson

The No. 4 seeded Blooming Prairie football team had its season end in a 41-12 loss at No. 1 Rushford-Peterson in a Section 1A semifinal Saturday.
Noah Carlson ran the opening kick-off back for a TD for the Trojans and he also ran for 230 yards and three TDs.
“Things just kind of went south from that first quarter. We kind of got behind the eight ball,” BP head coach Chad Gimbel said.
BP had 391 yards of offense and Seth Peterson hit Colin Lerum for a 33-yard TD that made it 33-12 in the fourth quarter.
BP was stopped twice inside the RP one-yard line.
