A Karen man, newly-arrived in Austin, has been reported missing by the family with whom he has been staying.

Maung Aye, 21, left the home at some point late last week with a roofing crew and has not been seen since, said Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger. The family reported him missing at 5:51 p.m. on Sunday. The family lives on the 200 block of First Street Southeast in Austin.

He is described as 5 feet tall and 120 pounds. He has a shaved head and lines are shaved through his eyebrows.

Information about him has been entered into the National Crime Information Center, said Krueger.
