The Hayfield boys basketball team picked up its first win of the season when it beat Winona Cotter (0-2 overall) 70-50 in Hayfield Tuesday.

Sophomore Mason Tapp hit a three-pointer to end the half and put the Vikings (1-3 overall) up 34-24 and he nailed four straight threes in the second half to break the game open. Tapp finished with 15 points and Adam Fjerstad added eight points and 10 rebounds.
