Boys hockey: Packers top Kittson Central

The Austin boys hockey team snapped a three-game losing streak when it scored three third period goals to beat Kittson Central in the Eleveth-Gilbert Invite Wednesday.
Kaleb Ree, Dylan Svoboda and Hunter Guyette all scored in the third period for the Packers (4-4 overall), who led 5-3 before Kittson added a late goal to pull within one.
Noah Bawek had 19 saves in net and the Packers had 46 shots on goal.
Kory Potach and Guyette, who had one assist, had first period goals for Austin. Svoboda had two assists, Brayden Merritt and Jack Dankert had one assist.
