Police continue investigating a shooting incident from early Friday morning in southwest Austin, but a 41-year-old victim is doing well, according to Police Chief Brian Krueger.
The victim should be released from the hospital soon, if he hasn’t already, Krueger said. However, detectives continue investigating the incident and don’t yet have more details to report.
Authorities were called at 5:41 a.m. Jan. 27 to Western Manor, 2600 Third Ave. SW.
When officers arrived, however, the victim had been taken in a personal vehicle by another person to Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin. The man’s address is listed as being from Darfur, a small town in Watonwan County.
