Hebrink hits nine threes as Packers down Panthers

Austin junior Tate Hebrink put on a shooting display to remember as the Packers topped Rochester Century (2-16 overall, 2-12 Big Nine) 77-48 in Rochester Friday.
Hebrink tied his teammate Duoth Gach with an AHS record nine three-pointers in the win as he he finished with a career-high 29 points.
Austin (19-1 overall, 15-1 Big Nine) led 66-22 early in the second half and the starters were able to rest down the stretch.
“We shot it really well tonight and Century is playing with a lot of young kids,” Austin head Kris Fadness said. “They’re going to be good down the road, but it’s hard play ninth and tenth graders in our conference. I was happy with our guys.”
