First Farmers & Merchants State Bank has announced the addition of Steven Murley as senior vice president of agricultural and commercial lending.

Murley joins the team of First Farmers & Merchants bringing with him over 27 years of lending experience.  Murley has spent his entire career in the Midwest, serving the needs of customers in both Iowa and Minnesota.

“We are so pleased to have Steve as part of the First Farmer’s team,” President/CEO Doug Nuckolls said in a press release. “Steve’s past experience shows his strong dedication to his customers, and a track record of helping his customers meet their financial goals.”

Murley lives in Austin with his family. Outside of banking, he stays busy as a school activity and booster volunteer along with being a proud Kiwanis member.
