Austin boys edge out Rochester Mayo

The Austin boys basketball team had to make some key plays down the stretch as it beat Rochester Mayo (8-15 overall, 7-12 Big Nine) 51-46 on the road Tuesday.
Austin (22-1 overall, 18-1 Big Nine) trailed 43-41 with 4:13 left in the game when Duoth Gach converted a lay-up to tie the game at 43 and Oman Oman scored to put Austin up 45-43 with 2:17 left.
Tate Hebrink had 14 points, four assists and two steals and Both Gach had 13 points, three assists and four steals.
