Ten Austin students will receive more than $5,700 in cash awards at the Austin Chamber of Commerce’s 30th annual ACCESS Scholarship Banquet, to be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 6 at the Hormel Historic Home.

Nearly 100 students applied for scholarships this year. Scholarship awards range from $200 to $1,500 and all finalists receive awards. This year’s eighth grade finalists include Siri Ansorge, Katie Shin, Ella Muzik, Riley Haugen, Ava Jovaag and Chloe Schmitt. High school senior finalists are Paige Raymond, Neftali Lopez, Katie Waller and Miranda Bergemann.

Finalists are selected by the Chamber’s Business Education Committee through a three-step process: written applications, interviews and speech presentations. Student family members, educators, committee members and business sponsors are invited to attend the banquet.
