A motorcyclist and bicyclist refused transport to Austin Medical Center after the two collided on 12th Street Southwest, Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May said.
According to May, 43-year-old Kristoffer Fadness of Austin was attempting to cross 12th Street around noon when he was hit by 54-year-old Mark Robinson, who was traveling southbound on the local road.
May said Robinson, of Blooming Prairie, honked and called out to Fadness in efforts to prevent the crash. Fadness, who’d been traveling northbound on the west sidewalk of the street, didn’t see him, May stated.
Both suffered cuts and scrapes, according to May, adding that the pair was sitting in the front lawn of 1300 Fourth Ave. S.W. when police arrived.
Neither accepted transport to AMC, May said.
