Pacelli students take part in HOSA conference

On Wednesday, March 22, state participants from the Austin Pacelli Catholic School HOSA chapter travelled to Bloomington, Minnesota, to compete at the HOSA Spring Leadership Conference.
Daisy Hernandez and Shenali DeSilva placed first in Community Awareness, presenting their project on domestic violence. Tayha Rogne and Sarai Sorela placed fourth in the same event for their project on eating disorders. Sonia Ramirez placed fourth in written tests for pathophysiology, which is the study of the mechanisms of conditions and diseases.
Neha Nanda excelled as a middle schooler competing in the high school medical spelling written test.
Hernandez and DeSilva will travel to Orlando, Florida, at the end of June to compete in the International HOSA Leadership Conference.
