Two sentenced in separate drug cases

An Austin woman and Racine man were sentenced in two separate Mower County drug cases earlier this week.

Katie Mae Brooks, 29, Austin, was convicted of felony fifth-degree drug possession. She was given a stayed sentence, five years of supervised probation and 40 hours of community service. She must also meet 21 conditions while on probation, including chemical dependency treatment.

Christopher Maly, 34, of Racine, was also sentenced to fifth-degree drug possession and received a stayed sentence. He received five years of supervised probation and must meet 23 conditions as part of his probation.
